THEME: “LET’S BE brave EAGLEs!”
As we settle into Summer and find our flow within the new season, let’s check back in with finding our focus through our breath, movement, mantras and meditation practice. Day to day, we can help ourselves, and those around us, by being strong eagles, so let’s help spread our wings and find our strength this month!
Enjoy bringing this theme into your classrooms this month and as always, take what you need and leave what doesn’t serve you
MEDITATION/VISUALISATION: “BRAVE EAGLE SOARS”
Time: 8 minutes
When to practice: FOR CALMING TIME AND TO INVITE BRAVERY INTO THE DAY
Get comfortable and lay down on your backs. Imagine you are an eagle flying high up in the sky! You are a beautiful and strong eagle with huge wings, flying higher and higher. What do you see below you as you fly? Enjoy the journey and feel relaxed here.
Your body is still and light as you float slowly and gracefully through the sky. I wonder what can you see around you? You are free to fly wherever you wish! Where would you like to go...

Breathing exercise: “eagle breath”
Let’s find our strong, brave Eagle Breath! Start by standing tall with your legs apart and arms by your sides. You can even close your eyes here! Take a big, deep breath in as you slowly bring your arms up by your sides like your beautiful strong wings, then slowly breathe out of your mouth as you gently lower them back down. You can also do this for your little ones by sitting on the floor with them, and gently raising and lowering their arms too. Practice a few times to feel strong and brave!
